Menara Perkebunan as a communication media for research publishes articles covering original results on the pre- and post-harvest biotechnology aspects of plantation crops including plant, microbial, and environmental biotechnology. These aspects cover: in vitro culture, molecular biology (omics), bioinformatics, genetic engineering, bioprocess, biofertilizers, and biopesticides. The contents of the articles should be directed for solving the problems of production and/or processing of estate crops of smallholders, private plantations and state-owned estates based on the principles: (1) analyses of innovative research methods and techniques in biotechnology, which are indispensable for advancing in agricultural research and (2) critical scientific reviews of publications in plant, microbial, and environmental biotechnology for building the foundation of excellent research implementation.
